Pete Burns: The Last Interview - Limited edition keepsake booklet #2
Pete Burns: The Last Interview - Limited edition keepsake booklet #2
When Dead Or Alive frontman Pete Burns spoke to SuperDeluxeEdition.com editor Paul Sinclair, on 17 September 2016, it turned out to be his last interview. He sadly died of a heart attack little more than a month later.
Although Pete said he was 'anxious' about the conversation he was in a positive frame of mind at the time Paul spoke to him about life and career, with a Dead or Alive box set (the now out-of-print Sophisticated Boom Box MMXVI) about to be released.
This 12-page printed booklet edition of the interview is for fans of Pete and Dead or Alive. It contains all 5000+ words of the conversation – as published on SuperDeluxeEdition.com in October 2016 – and is the third in a series of limited edition 'keepsake' printed editions of SDE interviews. These last words from Pete have a certain permanence on the printed page and the interview was much praised at the time (see comments below).
As with the sold out Paul McCartney and Roxy Music booklets, this print run is a limited edition of 450 copies, signed and hand-numbered by SDE editor Paul Sinclair.
These will be posted in a board-backed envelope to ensure they don't get bent in the post.
RIP Pete Burns 1959-2016
Also available: Dead Or Alive's Mad, Bad and Dangerous To Know on white vinyl.
